Who we are

Kinamani is a safe space where teenage mothers and their children grow together.

Our Story

Turning Stigma and Shame into Power

Founded in 2026 from the lived experience of Fon Rita Bih, “Kinamani” is a coined word meaning “kin” (community) and “amani” (peace). This is a safe space where teenage mothers and their children grow together. Kinamani exists to break this cycle of poverty, stigma, and hopelessness through our Kinamani garden.

At Kinamani, we support teenage mothers in four key ways: building confidence, improving parenting skills, offering vocational training, and running a safe daycare for their children.
