About us
Restoring The Dignity of Teenage Mothers
In Bamenda, 1 in 4 girls between the ages of 13 to 19years becomes a mother before she is ready, often due to sexual violence or lack of comprehensive sex education. Many drop out of school, face rejection, live in shame, poverty, and struggle to feed their children.
Kinamani exists to break this cycle of poverty, stigma, and hopelessness through our Kinamani garden- a six-phase program that focuses on:
- Confidence Building
- Improving Parenting Skills
- Vocational Training
- A Safe Daycare for Their Children
