Kinamani is a community-based organisation that aims to uplift and empower teenage mothers by providing the tools necessary to positively transform their lives, as well as that of their children. It focuses on:
- Creating a peaceful community through open and honest communication
- Empowerment
- Building a culture of responsibility and care by working with fathers, families, and community leaders to support reconciliation, co-parenting, and the well-being of teenage mothers and their children.
- Providing sex education counselling in an effort to prevent repeated unwanted pregnancy.
what we do
Kinamani promotes open communication in the community through workshops, personal reflections, and peer support circles.
We prepare teenage mothers for financial independence by offering hands-on skills training that leads to income generation.
Kinamani equips teenage mothers with the knowledge and skills to raise healthy, emotionally secure, and intellectually stimulated children.
